New Women’s Care Group
Mary Semenov is hosting a new care group beginning Monday March 8 in her home. The group will be studying “Experiencing God – Knowing and Doing the Will of God” by Henry Blackaby and Claude King. Meetings will consist of DVD viewing, group discussion, fellowship, and at-home workbooks. For more informaition, please call Mary at 628-1687 or 608-3429.

Hit The Trail For Hunger
The Abingdon Area Ministerial Association is sponsoring a 15 mile bike ride on the Creeper Trail to raise awareness of hunger in Washington County and to raise money for the cause. The ride will be held on Saturday, April 17 beginning at 1 P.M. Each cyclist is asked to set a goal of raising $100 for Ecumenical Faith In Action Food Program through sponsorships. Riders will follow the Creeper Trail from Abingdon to Damascus…approximately 15 miles. Every rider registered will receive a free t – shirt. Snacks will be provided during and at the end of the ride.
